How Abon collects, uses, and protects data

1. Who we are

Abon, Inc. (“Abon”, “we”, “us”) provides an operating network for industries including healthcare, field services, energy, construction, logistics, and related sectors.

2. What this covers

This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal data when you visit our site, request a demo, or use Abon products and services.

3. Data we collect

• Account & contact data: name, email, phone, company, role.
• Product data: usage events, configurations, integration metadata.
• Device & analytics: IP address, browser/OS, referrer, approximate geolocation, cookies, session telemetry.
• Support & demos: communications, meeting notes, intake forms.
• Payment & billing: payer details, invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations (processed via PCI-DSS compliant providers).

4. How we use data

• Provide and improve Abon products, including automation, analytics, and security.
• Authenticate users, enforce access controls, and maintain audit trails.
• Respond to demo requests, support tickets, and product feedback.
• Send operational notices (uptime, security, feature updates) and—with your consent—product marketing. You can opt out at any time.
• Meet legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements (including HIPAA/BAA where applicable).

5. Legal bases

We process data on the basis of contract (to deliver services), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the platform), consent (where required), and compliance with legal obligations.

6. Sharing & transfers

• Vendors & subprocessors: cloud hosting, analytics, communications, support, security monitoring, and payments—bound by data protection agreements.
• Enterprise customers: platform telemetry and content where we act as processor under a DPA/BAA.
• Compliance & safety: to comply with law, enforce terms, or protect rights, safety, and security.
• We do not sell personal data.

7. International transfers

Data may be processed in the United States and other regions. We use appropriate safeguards (such as SCCs) where required.

8. Security

Controls include encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, audit logging, least-privilege permissions, vulnerability management, and incident response procedures. HIPAA-aligned controls and BAAs are available for covered entities.

9. Data retention

We retain data for as long as necessary to provide services, meet contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it subject to platform logging constraints.

10. Your rights

Depending on your region, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or export of your personal data, and opt out of certain processing. Submit requests at privacy@abon.ai.

11. Cookies & tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and security, and functional/analytics cookies to improve the product. You can control cookies through your browser; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.

12. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
